Getting Started with Gemhubx

This guide walks you through installing Gemhubx, importing your first products, and fulfilling your first order — from zero to live in under 15 minutes.

Part 1 — Install & Connect

1

Install from the Shopify App Store

Find Gemhubx in the Shopify App Store and click Install. You'll be taken through Shopify's standard OAuth flow. Approve the requested permissions — these are required to push products and receive orders.

2

Your account is created automatically

No manual signup needed. Gemhubx creates your retailer account from your Shopify store identity the moment OAuth completes. You'll land directly on your dashboard.

Tip: Gemhubx runs fully embedded inside your Shopify admin. You don't need to open a separate browser tab or log in to a separate site.

Part 2 — Browse & Import Products

3

Browse the wholesale catalog

Go to Products → Browse All Products. Use the filters to narrow by metal type, gemstone, karat, price range, or supplier. Over 12,000 SKUs are available across rings, necklaces, earrings, bracelets, loose diamonds, and watches.

4

Add products to your Import List

Click Add to Import List on any product card. You can add as many products as you want before importing. The Import List is your staging area — nothing goes to your Shopify store until you push it.

5

Set your pricing and push to Shopify

Open My Products → Import List. For each product you can edit the title, description, and tags. Set a markup percentage (e.g. 100% doubles the wholesale cost) or enter a fixed retail price. Select a Shopify product type, then click Import to Store. The product appears in your Shopify Products within seconds.

Tip: Gemhubx prevents duplicate imports. If you try to import a product that's already in your store, it will be skipped automatically.

Part 3 — Manage Orders & Fulfillment

6

Orders arrive automatically

When a customer buys a Gemhubx product from your Shopify store, the order appears in Orders automatically via webhook. You'll see the customer's shipping details and the items ordered.

7

Send the fulfillment request

Open the order and click Send Fulfillment Request. Gemhubx forwards the order details to the relevant supplier (QGold or GND) for picking and packing. Your wallet balance is charged the wholesale cost at this point.

8

Tracking is pushed back automatically

When the supplier ships the item, the tracking number and carrier are synced back to your Shopify order and the fulfilment is marked complete. Your customer receives their standard Shopify shipping notification email.

Part 4 — Top Up Your Wallet

9

Add funds before fulfilling orders

Go to Wallet to view your balance and payment history. To top up, contact [email protected] and our team will arrange the transfer. Your balance is deducted automatically each time a fulfillment request is sent to a supplier.

Tip: Ensure your wallet has sufficient funds before peak periods. If your balance falls below the cost of an order, fulfillment will be paused until you add funds.
